These steps you take will always be relevant and a great learning or relearning for those of us who sew, have stopped for a while and are getting back into sewing again. Thanks for keeping this video on KZbin Peggy.

Peggy, you're such a genius. Learned so much from you about fitting cloths. I gave up sewing for a long time but sense your show/channel, I see what I was doing wrong. Just got through making my own jeans and they feel and look fantastic. My friends can't believe they are not ready-to-wear. They look just like a pair of Levies.

So much information. I found you about a month ago and I have binge watched ever since. I intend to order the DVD series and the basic pattern bundle from your patterns. I can’t wait to finally be able to fit a pattern so it fits me, and all my granddaughters, grandsons and one daughter. They all have fit issues with ready to wear. My daughter is almost six feet tall, very slim, and stately. One granddaughter is tall and heavy. One is bottom heavy, one is short and blocky, me. We are all perfect, but our clothing is hard to find! Thank you so much for helping me to learn how to fix and fit!

Great fitting lesson, Peggy. Appreciate that you show how to take the muslin adjustment to the paper pattern in this lesson.

The tissue is your guide, it is each of our job to personalize that tissue. I firmly believe that each of us know what is wrong, no matter where the wrong part is, we just do not know how to fix the issue. So while we are doing it by ourselves, we just have to take the garment off and make the adjustment, then put the garment back on. But the knowledge will be our best friend, even if we are by ourselves.

We do that for the pants episode, the straight of grain follows center front.

You are so engaging. I always say I don’t have time to watch the whole thing, let me just see what topic this episode is on ... cue it’s 30 mins later and the credits are on.

I would like to see you take the muslin apart and use as a pattern. How do yo get the straight of grain?

I thought we were not suppose to make creases in our tissue pattern. also, if you are a singleton severe, as myself, how can you make these changes in your back? there is no one who knows how to sew around me

I loved this episode. I turned my local library inside out looking for a book to teach me exactly what is in this video. I could not find one book on this topic. I wish you'd done a series on this topic. Nonetheless, thank you so much. By trial and error I will get it done. Making myself a perfected tank top. I have a very large bust, a high waistline, narrow hips, and a tiddle bit of a tummy. It will take lots of work. I am up to the task. I wanna Look My Best.
