Nice job man! just one tip, FFAK uses a hybrid tuning for the Drop F stuff. it’s Drop A# with an added low F, similar to how Northlane tunes their guitars. Also if you’ve got the time check out my Oblivion cover, it would mean a lot. ❤️ (also working on uploading Youth | Division currently)

you're absolutely welcome dude! i didn't know either until i talked to Bobby about it and he told me that he uses Drop A# (A# F A# D# G# C F) and the F Hybrid tuning on a 7

Hi John, some advice if you have the time mate (and before I go out and purchase my E-ii horizon... So the tuning is an A# with the drop F on the 7th string? Secondly, I've heard the strings their using on the evertune is an ernie ball 8 string set and removing the 64? Thanks Jamie

Is it just me or is a decent portion of modern metal sound the same and follow almost a common formula? Really not trying to generalize and I am a huge metal fan myself. But I can't help but hear startling similarities among a lot of these new song that come out, especially the rhythms. I respect if you disagree but I thought I'd just mention that

@@drkstrnd sort of generally. Sort of a lot of simple heaviness just for the sake of being heavy. I know we joke and meme a lot about these stereotypes of modern metal or djent or whatever you wanna call it, but the unfunny part is that these bands we follow are often times guilty of these things that we joke about. And it honestly makes the music so boring. We need more creativity in metal today, which still comes from bands like Stone Sour, Tremonti, to name a couple

Schecter have great guitars, I always recommend going to your local guitar stores, trying a few different guitars out, and pick the ones that feels best and plays best FOR YOU.
