Next to Disease, this has to be my favorite song from the album! The breakdown on 1:30-2:07 is freaking legendary, in my opinion! 😀 Awesome job, FFAK!! Love you guys, and God bless! 🙏📿✝

Ryan may be one of the best screamers in metalcore but those cleans sound amazing and coincides with Tuck's cleans really well. 😎🤘🏻

@Ultra Legendary Master I've definitely listened to all albums now.. deathgrip is the 1st song I heard from them. I spam their music on a daily basis.. along with silent planet, Polaris and architects

Tuck is doing these cleans right?
@Marksman51475 жыл бұрын
Ryan and Tuck both do cleans. Tuck does the more harmonic stuff, watch their live vids and you can see/hear the difference.

Who sings on this track? Is it Jared?
@lswan14878 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking. The singing sounds a lot like their "Awaken the Vesper" EP, and I think I read somewhere that Jared did the singing back then.
@RG_Adapt8 жыл бұрын
LswaN 1 It also sounds like the cleans on the original Descendants album
@isaiahwootton60868 жыл бұрын
StevieJay it's Ryan the screamer. He does cleans a lot on this album and does them very well.
@RG_Adapt8 жыл бұрын
Isaiah Wootton That doesn't sound like him though
@isaiahwootton60868 жыл бұрын
StevieJay well it's not the bassist. And it's not the guitarist either. And the drummer doesn't do vocals on this album soooo

The beautiful thing about this is that you can think they're singing about god, but you can also imagine those are meant to be eldritch gods of chaos and nameless horrors :)
