Because no one listens to metal. And that comes from someone who loves it.😕
@SorceressWitch Жыл бұрын
@@NSA.Monitored.Device That's not true and that's not the reason either. Metal bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Slipknot are doing well. They're asking why they're not bigger in deathcore as a whole. Remember that most metal doesn't sound like deathcore, so not even all metalheads listen to this type of metal. However even within deathcore, they're not bigger, bands like Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, Slaughter To Prevail are big in deathcore. You are looking in the wrong place if you are wanting non-metalheads to like this band. It needs to be asked why deathcore fans aren't listening to this band while they listen to others. It's like asking why an underground rapper isn't bigger and looking at rock fans as the reason why when you would need to ask hip hop fans if they heard of that rapper. Deathcore is on the extreme side of metal and not all metalheads like extreme stuff. I know some people who prefer the lighter stuff like power metal. They see stuff like this as being too heavy. Metal is still a popular genre, it's just less popular than Hip Hop and pop. It's also seen as the fastest growing genre. People do listen to metal but that doesn't mean they need to like deathcore to be a metal fan. Metallica are very popular too and many listen to stuff like that.
@NSA.Monitored.Device Жыл бұрын
@@SorceressWitch Reality: "US music industry magazine Billboard has published its annual year-end chart documenting the 200 best-selling albums of 2021, and there’s not one rock/metal album released in 2021 on the list." Even those bands mentioned are just a peak among many, many not reaching the surface. It's like when e. g. Heaven Shall Burn went with their release in 2020 to #1 in Germany and stayed there for ten weeks (I think...), battling with some more popular and well known solo artist who called them "some rock group out of nowhere". At the end of the year, in sales, it was placed #96. If there are 1.000, 2.000 people attending their concerts - it's a lot! Some lame folk (or how it's called over here: Schlager) artist hits those numbers easily without any promotion. Sad, but that's the truth. I hope better times will come, like back in the 90s, because many bands deserve better. Till then it's Taylor Swift and others ruling the waves.

The past year has been one of the most amazing for new music as so many bands have been writing instead of touring but even with the glut of amazing new music this song stands out. Main riff reminds me of gojira. Can't say I've listened to these guys since they first came out but I dig it. 👌

Abolutely massive sound and a brilliant video! The "we are what you created" part sounds truly ominous and the pictures emphasize it so well - stoked for the album!
