FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY "RED HORIZON" LYRICS This storm shall never pass Visions of agony In shards of broken glass Fate carved on a bullet Placed in the palm Every child sings the siren song This storm shall never pass The red horizon Born in the blood of the aftermath Trauma only sharpens the blade Every child will remember what the sky took away Soul starvation You find no shelter here Another contract kill The millions banished out of sight out of mind The grand campaign of fear Disguised as saviors spears Architects of genocide The will of the wicked Nothing is sacred Every pocket lined with gold has cost a soul in other places Torn away In red horizons Curse your name Beasts of zion Into the pits The earth shifts Beneath the hospitals blown to bits If we could live but a moment in the this unforgiving rift We would resist the crimes against the innocent And on that day Hell rained from the sky The bodies burned so bright That god closed his eyes Torn apart in red horizons God closed his eyes Curse the heart of red horizon God closed his eyes

"Beasts of Zion"? Is it truly impossible for pro pallies to not resort to blatant antisemitism? I ubderstand the sentiment (war is hell, it is terrible for the children) but this is unnessecary. And to add the line "from he River to the sea"...it is clear you guys are not historians, lol. Cool song though. The instrumentals, that is.
@linker94Ай бұрын
@@Jdutchie Is being against Zionism now anti-semitic? I thought that Zionism wanting to claim Palestine by force is a bad thing, just like the prayer "from the river to the sea, palestine will be free". Its a bad look either way, I agree with you there, but Beast of Zion is in my opinion not so problematic. Or maybe Im not aware of all the antisemetic phareses
@JdutchieАй бұрын
@@linker94 I define antizionism as the right of the jewish people for self-determination in their own homeland. So if you're antizionist, but are not against other movements for self determination, than yes, sorry, you ARE antisemitic. This notwithstanding that I detest the colonizers on the west bank. That has to stop, but that is not all that Zionism is. Also, israel has a history of being able to make peace with other nations (Jordan, Egypt) and all the land that they supposedly 'stole' they got after winning wars that were forced on them, the Westbank included. Most jews are zionist in the sense as explained in the first sentence. If you don't know this, you're ignorant (saying this in general, not you perse). You cannot just change the meaning of Zionism to mean the worst things that israel has to offer, just because that kind of meaning suits you and your side of the argument better. Antizionism is often more problematic than you might think, and people who want to HONESTLY engage with this subject would at least venture out and try to understand this. Beasts of Zion invokes all kinds of ancient anti-jewish tropes. Such as Jews being 'with the devil.' The word Zion has been used in other antisemitic ways, which is hurtful as it takes a very important place in jewish history and jewish faith. They might not have meant it in this way, but that just shows they're not very aware / ignorant, which is strange in and of itself - because if you make a song about a highly complex conflict, I'd guess you'd do some research into what you are actually supporting. In my opinion, this is especially blatant. Even the line 'from the rive rto the sea' has so many meanings and is used by people who just want a better life for palestinians (I agree with them) and people who want the destruction of israel. The original line is 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be Arab' and that is also very blatant. If you know the history of this line, most sensible people would think; 'let's just not use this, as it might be rightfully hurtful to my jewish friends.' Apparently FFAA either don't have the knowledge or the sympathy. Don't know what is worse.

But something about “the bodies burned so bright that god closed his eyes” along with the visuals, the breakdown, the current relevancy. It ALL just hit me at the same time and I feel like this band is one of the few out there in ALL of metal, IMO, that can really sonically hit my in my heart and soul this type of way AND still sound this aggressive. This band rapidly became a beacon of cutting to the core for me, true artistic expression and are one of the absolute top deathcore bands of our time. Addressing true issues in this world that so many are blind to. This is unrelated, but there's a line in Conditional Healing off the last album "how many more mothers have to bury their sons you sick mother******," regarding the opiate crisis and drugs being purposely injected into society destroying entire cities. Not many bands actually reach this level of call to action. Whatever you take from this new track, it's for interpretation by intention. They are calling for peace. No question about the general premise. Songs like this need to be written more often, I hope that one day metal goes very very mainstream, people would open their eyes.

Conditional healing is fantastic, that breakdown line is one of my favourites
@tzachcohen912428 күн бұрын
Yeah, nothing calls for peace more than the "Beasts of Zion" and "From the river to the sea". No one talks about the men, women, and children Hamas has commited horrible atrocities on. No one cares. No one dares to say the simple solution to all of this: RETURN THE HOSTAGES. They took babies (!!!) as hostages! And you expect the "Beasts of Zion" to say "oh okay we got you let's take out 9 million people, go back to Europe and end this whole saga" yeah no, you return the hostages or experience hell on earth, and that's us being considerate. If it was America trust me, there would be no Gaza left by now.
