It's important to clean the threads of your grub screw and pinion with a degreaser first. These naturally come with a lot of machine oil on them, and your thread lock will not adhere properly otherwise. That's the most important part.

Shim the armature dude;) otherwise it moves during flux:/ Also you would be surprised how much torque you can gain by shimming the magnets;) I was expecting you to cover how to correct pinion to bevel mesh. Your right It's really important to have the grip angle correlating with the bevel:) some builds like the mp5 are notoriously crappy and hard to, making them noisy. I've shimmed the motor caseing to the grip in the past, helps quieten down motor slap as well. All help keep stuff quiet ;) Sweet tunes, will look through some of your other stuff, i like the detail of ur approach, and using random junk stuff:) P.S. I just use high speed tape (Au foil) around the tower. You can ofset and layer accordingly for oveled holes in accordance with motor case shim, for exact results. Been out of Airsoft for 2yrs, your tsg vid brought me here. Curious..

This was a helpful tip. I just put in a new warhead in a gun the other day and I'm going to pop it out and try this with it. I completely forgot about thread lock too. That was foolish of me. But when I was putting the motor in, I was thinking that a company really needs to come up with a different way of connecting the wires to the motor. Its such a pain. I suppose its always going to be a pain since the handle is limited space, but there has to be a better way.

Yup, if the AEG/ETU wires were shorter & on bullet connectors & motors the same... I've done that a few times with Titans/Krytac/Brushless combos that don't mate up.

@@NegativeAirsoftTech After thinking about it, I feel like one way of fixing it would be for the tabs on the motor to point sideways rather then up. But not pointing outwards, rather just being parallel to the motor plate. Basically the direction the wires currently bend in.

I heard metal filings are acually healthy for your motor and gears, that old saying applies" what ever doesnt break you will make you stronger" plus a nice healthy dollop of ky jelly to make everything run slick

Im a spiral pinion enjoyer, have to of them press fitted on both of my brushless T238 motors. (fuck warhead). With perfect shimming it sounds like an hpa gun its ridiculous.

So how do you actually decide the tower height? Cause you could compensate diameter with aluminium tape (for example) but what about the height? Is it suppose to sit just beneath the pinion?

please let me know if you have ever seen a king arms brushless tornado motor37k long but if you have ever heard of or saw one with a small toggle lever on 1 side of the bottom . its would be on the flat area next to the tower that the height adjuster grub screw rests on. it has no numbers letters nor a way to tell which positison is which. i can not find a picture or even info on the ka web page. please let me know if any info as to what the actual fuck it is. big thanks cheers.
