If you have a smaller puncture . I used PVC pie glue . Put on thin coats . I used 2 and got a seal . I tried Shoe Goo that has made many repairs on many types of materials . I also tried Permatex 81731 Super Weatherstrip Adhesive . That works with a lot of items also . Neither would adhere to the ball . But the PVC glue did . Oatey 4 oz. All-Purpose Fast Setting ABS, PVC, and CPVC Clear Cement. How long will it last ? Don't know. But it's stuck to it and I can't peal it off. No patch was used . The slash was about 1/8 inch from a cats claw. Good luck .
