Same I'm currently using my vivosmart 4 and so far I dont have major complaints besides the small screen and it can be unresponsive sometimes. It even has a music controller which the charge 3 lacks plus it has the auto IQ which if you run it will detect that's you're running plus it has smart notifications and can even respond with basic responses

I have the Charge HR and are considering if Apple Watch4 is worth it, or the Charge3. I like the small form factor or the Charge3 (and the much lower cost). It's also nice that the Fitbit doesn't make it look like I'm wearing 2 watches when I have an automatic watch on the other wrist.

I had charge3 for 1 year. So, after the year, a rubber band broken. I've replaced it to a longer one from the box (it was included, probably for thicker wrists) - and after a week it starts to endlessly auto pressing the main button... So now I just couldn't use it and it discharges battery really fast. I've cleaned it, took off all bands, but nothing substantially changed( Also, the warranty period is out. Now I'm thinking about another tracker, definitely not Fitbit. The screen is damaged a bit, some horizontal stripes have appeared. Also, it "counts" steps even when I just waiving my hands. So, based on my experience I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from Fitbit - it's just expensive, not so durable, and even can't properly perform its main task - count steps properly.

There is but it's a little disappointing you can't get the time if you don't use one of those faces. I love the stat heavy watch face but there isn't any way to get the date by swiping up or something. It would be nice if they put the date right next to the battery level. I'm happy with it as well, but those are some minor annoyances.

If u have problems with any fitbit devices, beyond your own troubleshooting based on some onlibe tips and chat with Fitbit support... Fyi, Fitbit does not have any service or repair centres anywhere in the world. Once damaged, out of warranty... Just throw it away. Dont believe me? The numbers on the watch face and the watch face itself are so small its really hard to see when you are running. The shaking about and the sunlight make it almost impossible to see while you are at full pace. I have to slow down and run into some shade so that I can determine my distance and pace. Then I have to swipe to get my time. Very annoying.

The ionic is the best of everything, but it's also more expensive. For the price of 1 ionic, I could practically buy 2 charge 3s. The Versa makes no sense IMO. It's cool that it can play music and stuff, but what's the point without GPS? You would need to carry your phone anyway for GPS, which at that point, why even bother with putting music on the watch?

I don't use the notifications on my Charge 3, because I only want it to track my fitness, and I'm at 50% battery life after 6 days of use at the moment. I had some syncing issues the first few days, but after I reset the Fitbit and re downloaded the Fitbit app, I havent had any trouble, although it still takes forever to sync (something Fitbit should look into).

It's easy, if you have a working FitBit charge 2 keep it. It's still a nice tracker. If you don't have a Fitbit but you want one or your Charge 2 is broken get the Charge 3

Just ordered this, Im a bit annoyed already about the sneaky way Fitbit dont include fitpay on the normal models, they even show the Graphite model with the pay on the screen! - its not until you look closely you realise it is special editions only. I have had 2 fitbits previously, they are good for fitness but dont last long both breaking, will see how this one gets on

The Watch doesn’t have a built-in sleep tracking app, but there are plenty of 3rd party ones out there! I have been sleeping with my Watch for a couple of years now and what is nice, is that it has a silent alarm which wakes you up by vibrating without waking up your partner.

Just returned mine today...the apps were very limited and not much room to customis them ..the clock has no military time (personal preference..) and it doesnt show the date only time,steps, and bpm with the few options they have. Maybe in the future ill revisit it again, if it developes a bit more. love that it is waterproof..extreamly lightweight..and charging time was very short 10 min tops for 100% battery.

Problem with these fitness bands is that they need to be synchronised to an always on Bluetooth smartphone app. This of course drains your phone's battery prematurely. Don't know if the Fitbit includes a bood pressure sensor, but the one on mine is way off

If you want to check the time quickly, you have to turn it on - I really don't like this, even though it probably is the reason the battery life is longer. I do like that you can change the bands quickly and easily. The watch faces have been added to since this review, and they have the date, or whatever you want to see when you TURN ON the watch - the time does not display all the time.

I like the physical tap of the FC2, the swipe seems kinda annoying. The tap took some getting used to but is much better than having to rely on the screen's touch sensitivity. So I can't really see any reason to upgrade.

I purchased this on Monday... And I must say, I'm really not too happy with this purchase... I'm actually thinking about returning it. It does not have the date on the main screen... The step count isn't accurate or even near accurate, and you can not reply to texts.... WITH QUICK REPLIES. I had the charge 2 before this... Only difference is that it's waterproof. Which doesn't really matter to me, because I don't go swimming like that, and i take it off during showers. Oh and btw... Yes the screen may be bigger, but the display isn't really much of a difference from the charge 2. Check for yourself.

Regarding the step accuracy, I would recommend to give your tracker a restart, that will help to refresh the internal logs that could be causing accuracy issues and overall performance. After that, do a quick step test. Also, you may need to readjust your stride length on the settings if you feel the issue persists. I think that what makes this screen better than the Charge 2 is that you can adjust the brightness, if has a more powerful inner rotor that will make the vibrations feel strong enough that can easily wake you up when the alarm goes on, the ability to detect swipes and not only taps and the fact that the frame is all black (standard edition) for which you actually had to pay extra on the Charge 2 being this a very elegant design. And last but not least, it has Gorilla Glass, so the screen will be more durable and resistant to scratches. That and the onscreen weather app I believe makes it a much better device compared to its predecessor. I hope you reconsider and decide to stay with your Fitbit, but if you feel like you are not satisfied at all, make sure to claim the warranty before 45 days from purchase if you want to get a full refund.

Today, 6/16/2019, my wife gave me a Fitbit Versa fitness tracker watch for Father's Day. I was very excited to receive it. My son spent an hour and a half setting it up for me (that seems too long). 1. The ads says the Fitbit Versa has an atimeter. This is FALSE. The Fitbit Versa can tell me how many flights of stairs I have climbed but it cannot give me the altitude. I have to get that information from my phone. The Fitbit Versa does not have an altimeter. 2. The ad says the Fitbit versa has an blood oxygen monitor (SP02). This is FALSE. Supposedly there is an SP02 sensor on the back of the Fitbit Versa which is not enabled because Fitbit has been unable to get it to work. So why is Fitbit talking about this non-existant feature? 3. The promotional articles say the Fitbit Versa will be able to provide EKG information. This is FALSE. Only basic heart rate information is provided. It does not even show heart beat over time. It just shows current heart rate. I can get that info from a $30 product. 4. The ads says the Fitbit Versa heart rate monitor is accurate. This is partly true and partly false. I hiked 90 minutes today and the Fitbit Versa was able to capture my heart rate 75% of the time. That is better than the old Fitbits that were wildly inaccurate, but it is not wonderful performance. Articles says the Fitbit Charge 3 has a better heart rate monitor. Who knows. I don't trust Fitbit any more. 5. The ads say that the Fitbit Versa has a battery that will last 3 days. This is FALSE. Starting from a full charge, after my 90 minute hike, where I checked my pulse multiple times, used half of the battery. 6. The screen of the Fitbit Versa is very difficult to use. I do not like to stop when hiking. I want to just look at my watch/fitness tracker to see what my stats are. IMPOSSIBLE! Whenever I wanted to check my heart rate, I had to stop, squint at the screen, push a button on the side of the watch for HOME, press a heart icon on the bottom of the watch, then swipe upwards about 20 times before the watch would bring up the series of screens that lead to the heart rate screen. This makes the heart rate function nearly worthless to me. The ONLY feature that the Fitbit Versa has which is useful is a heart rate monitor yet it is way too difficult to use and not very informative and does not always work. I do not need the useless features like an additional alert from my watch if I receive a text or phone call. The alert from my phone is sufficient. I have not tried the music feature of the Fitbit Versa but people who have say it is impossible to precisely manage your music list, resulting in people being forced to listen to music that they hate. BOTTOM LINE: Fitbit is going to lose money on me. I am returning the totally unsatisfactory Fitbit Versa for a refund. I will try out the Fitbit Charge 3. It is sucks, I will return it too. Does anyone make a good heart rate monitor? I am really tired of half-assed crappy electronics that don't work.

If you're thinking about getting this for rowing, DON'T. I don't know how it works with other exercises, but it is wildly unreliable for rowing, sometimes reading accurately but in other cases showing a HR of 110 when it should be 170. For counting steps and stairs climbed it works fine, but if you're serious about rowing, this is not the product for you.

These comparisons are odd. Also, this product is antiquated - look at the Samsung Gear Fit Pro (first one), which is almost 2 years old and is superior in almost every regard. And cheaper.

I hear people use smart watches in the shower. I find it hilarious. But on the fitbit, I'm really glad it's water resistant. Not so keen on touch screen though. But I'm sure it's intuitive 👍😁. I would like to try it out.

I used my charge 3 in the shower, just because I can. It's mostly to clean underneath the watch, since residue builds up underneath. Since it's waterproof, I figure might as well clean underneath the watch while I shower. Plus, I sort of have an OCD where I want to track everything, even while I'm in the shower. lol.

Ju Chen do your own research. Of course fitbit can last for days with the minimal functions it has. Use your brain to analyze you fool. You can’t compare a simple product made with simple parts to a complicated product like apple watch or other smart watches with more functions. Stupid

I have the Charge 2 with a pretty good battery life. All these new versions 3 and 4 just add a bunch of junk you don't need. Music? Really? Spotify? GPS. What the heck. It should have stayed a simple fitness band with the basic functions and not changed it and discontinued the very good Charge 2. I will never upgrade to this junk.
