My Ionic has been playing up recently. The app can't find device when syncing and it keeps losing time. It had been working fine for a while I've gone into the Android settings and saw it was optimised. I've changed it now, so hopefully it'll work. I can't remember if I'd changed this to optimised before or not I've had to use my Surge in the meantime and the battery isn't that great on it now. It also has the problem with the strap and it has less functionality I've got an update for the Ionic which I need to do first and then I can see how it's all working out. There's nothing worse than never being sure whether the time is correct, or whether the steps you've done will sync to the app

Mine didn't sync... I spent 40 minutes or so on the phone with Fitbit tech support to troubleshoot it to no avail. I also tried your tips and also to no avail. So i chose to get a refund instead of having them send me a new one to replace the new one! ;) I am still shopping around for a smart scale that does wht it is supposed to do! ;)

I tried this and it didn't work. The issue with mine was that my Ionic showed up on the Bluetooth pair list but wouldn't let me click and pair the device. I went to the Bluetooth settings on my Fitbit and selected to pair with phone for music and it came up as a different name and now works with my notifications! Hope this helps someone

yeah there is a weird disconnect between the phones bluetooth pairing and the app pairing. the app overrides the phones settings

If you don't have all day sync enabled it will revert to scheduled syncing to preserve battery life.

Mine is Crane Connect (for the cheap Aldi band), tried the setting, as keeps dropping the connection, not syncing , and getting it to redetect takes many tries.... hope this tames it

This watch is just terrible. Absolutely terrible. My galaxy watch connected in 2 seconds no problem and stays connected. And I bought my galaxy watch for 161$ the versa 2 was about 220$. I dont reccomend buying. You have to pay for premium to get health reports and to monitor sleep well with the galaxy watch its all free. And i can answer a call right from my galaxy watch. We're sending my husband's versa 2 back and changing to the black 44mm galaxy watch active 2 for him. RIDICULOUS. Just even the fact that i have to go through and do ALL OF THAT just to get it to connect. Thank you for the video I'm just livid

thank you for the tutorial, I was still having issues. I rebooted my phone and forced the app to stop. Restarted the app and then clicked on add device through the app and it finally sync to my phone After it finally allowed me to pair it through the app. I was able to pair it to the phone afterwards but it had to be done through the app itself. I have the Samsung A70.

In the web browser remove the tracker from your account and then on your phone force a sync to remove the device. Also check in Bluetooth for previously paired devices and remove any Fitbit devices. Now you can re do the first time setup and it should be fine

I have a real problem I can’t find my kind of watch I got this watch a few years ago and I lost it but today I found it and I reset it and I went to Bluetooth and connected to HR #03115 which is the watch and I thought my watch would just sync but it hasn’t and is stuck on the screen where it has a phone and a watch with arrows pointing to each other and at the bottom of the screen it says HR #03115 SW: 1.2 and I don’t know what to do can you please help me 😣

I finally was able to sync with my older IPad.....as soon as it synced, it did an update, got up this morning and for heavens sakes, it had actually synced with my Galaxy s10 phone as well. May have been because of the update, not sure, but for now it is working.

Hi Mike. So i'm having issues with my fitbit. When I try to sync it, the bar loads up halfway in the app (after about 5 minutes) and then just stays there. It doesn't sync. Then when I delete the data and lose all my unsynced stuff it'll syc for a day and then stop working again. Any ideas??

if the fitbit is more than 2 years old i would say the bluetooth module is failing, very common for that to start any time after the first year really. I would try and open a support call with fitbit and try top arrange a repalcement or if you are using android, try syncing with an iphone and see if it works better.

Yeah that is sometimes the case, they used to offer a large discount on a new one but to be honest I would recommend a Apple Watch so much better and syncs well, if you have an iPhone that is

Inspire HR user, my time is off and it won’t sync to my phone when I’m setting it up, I’ve factory reset my watch multiple time and it’s still not syncing when I try to set up the app. (I phone x if that’s useful)

could be a failed bluetooth unit. my surge did the same and just stopped connecting properly and won't pair even though it looks like it is trying to

My Galaxy phone doesn't have those battery settings. So it won't work.

i feel sorry for my girlfriend because she bought a fitbit and my amazfit bip has none of the same issues and lasts much longer on battery

The Amazfit range are pretty good and seem to be a lot more reliable than fitibt

i did, and it was the best move i ever made. the apple watch 3 is far superior device and doesn't cost a whole lot more
