You don't need to use th obd2 port for it to work. You just won't have all the extra features like keyless entry, remote start, and window control.

My English is not good but my question is I really need to install the keyless start for it to work but I mean only to open and lock the doors with the smart key? Since that's the only reason I want it and it can also be installed without the remote control key because my car is a 2001 Celica and I don't have a remote key, can it still be installed or do I have to buy a separate kit?

This key is meant to be used when the car has an existing key fob already. If the car doesn't have a key fob already then you cannot use it.

It kinda has 2 mode it needs power for the screen to work but if the screen dies the regular button still works

I think they have a kit that you can buy seperate that will allow you to have keyless start. Unless your car already has it

You have to connect it to your computer and there are two folders for the key fob I can't remember which one is which but you drop your picture in that folder, but you have to resize it to work properly from what I remember.
