I have a problem with my Fitech part # 31001 600 Hp carburetor. The butterflies do not open any more or at least completely, The accelerating assembly only travels like one inch, no more. Any suggestions why they stop opening?. The car starts but does not accelerate.

I have been running a 30002 for 6 years it runs great. The only issue I been battling with it stalling when I come to a stop. Everything I’ve read and tried has not worked. I have noticed that when I am just about to stop the AFR will go very lean sometimes it will catch it something it won’t and stall.

I had that same issue. This is what i ended up doing. Hopefully it works for you. 1. Go to efi tuning 2. Find idle control and select 3. Scroll to decel IAC. Mine was a positive number. But I'm currently at negative 20 or 25. And it seems to have worked. Give it a try. Good luck🤞😁

I use the 600hp unit with timing control. I have watched Jeremy’s video on setting up the distributor,in particular, adjusting the phasable msd rotor. In the directions it states advance the rotor in the direction the distributor rotates. In my application, Ford, it rotates counterclockwise. I advanced the adjustable rotor to the second longest mark which is 10 degrees. In the video Jeremy says to adjust the phasable rotor half to 3/4 it’s scale but the directions and tech support says 3/4 of the width of the rotor tip. Which is the correct way to do this? Thank you

I have a 94 mustang gt . With a 5.0 e303 cam afr195 heads with shaft mount 1.6 roller rocker arms. Installed. Fi tech 600. It starts popping at higher rpms cutting out just won't rev msd two wire distributor locked out. Where do i start?

I would revisit setting like rev limit to make sure you are not hitting it. I would also recommend verifying the timing control setup is accurate. You can watch Tech Tuesday Video #5 for additional information. Ultimately you could be having as issue with timing being off due to setup or how settings are input under the spark table. You may also be running into spark jump if you have not phased the rotor or possibly the coil is beginning to fail.

I have had y’all’s force fuel system 50004 on my truck for 4 years now and just last month noticed its starting to make a loud like cavitation sound, (not good I would assume) still pumping 60psi so I’m not to concerned. But have yall ever experienced this? If so what would be y’all’s fix?

@@FiTechEFImedia what about kit 38352 used as a 4 cylinder app? I know it’s sequential but will it hurt the ecm not having 4 injectors hooked up?

@@nathanmurray5482 The #38352 is for a GM TPI engine. It requires the use of a GM small call computer controlled HEI distributor. It will not work on a 4 cylinder engine.
