It's been years and here you are, still on 1.12.1. The video talks of going to 1.14, and we are on 1.19.1 now. Mind-boggling. I can't imagine the elation the 2b2t community would feel seeing a freakin' dolphin, or having tridents. Having the new nether content to work with, including striders for mobility in lava. I'm sure there's a ton of things they just can't wait to break and weaponize.

Maybe Hausemaster could run 2 separate 2B2T servers: • The classic anarchy server with the original map and version 1.12.2 of Minecraft. Still maintained with plug-in updates and exploit patches. • A new anarchy server that will be on the latest Minecraft version, but has regular world wipes to allow for easier updating and more incentive for new players to join.

My personal opinion is simply this: 2B2T's map is both an argument for and against resetting. You are right that it's a huge appeal for people to want to play on it after so long since its a historical artifact, however, i dont think you realize that this means a huge number of people that don't play on 2B2T as well as inactive people would say something like "It happened once, now I want to be part of it happening again." The current map is proof you can make something legendary, and people want to be part of it from the beginning. That's a tenure most servers don't have. So personally, i do not want it to be reset, but i see no way that the server dies if it does.

Fits main point about the appeal of 2b3ts old map is one of the problems I have with minewind, lexi resets chunk sthat haven't been loaded in 6 moths. So u basically have to keep relogging in order to have your base still exist

2b2t finally updated to 1.19 in 2023 and the items reset almost killed it ! they had to revert it back lol and Fit stopped making 2b2t videos months ago, he didn't even talk about the update at all. he's on the quackity SMP

you're belief that it would destroy 2b2t, is indeed correct. a new Minecraft world has the the adventure of a new to discover. but 2b2t has not only adventure but history and that history makes it so amazing. finding structures build or pasted, exploits and cheats discovered, carnage and friendship with players, attacks at the people and the server, ... the list goes on. but it's those things that make 2b2t great. I've personally never been there, nor will I ever. I'm such a noob I'd die instantly over and over again. XD but getting to watch this History thanks to FitMC is worth it.
