I straight piped my RX-7 with flex pipe from O'Reilly's after the mufflers rusted off, drilled holes in the air filter cover for more "airflow," and had blacklight LED's illuminating the subwoofer... at least I calculated the resistor values so they'd run on 12v before the days of automotive LED replacement bulbs. 😆

@Markus Patients dude I got a shit box Honda and the number of bolts that come from the factory on that car is already small how can you lose any more and still have a car? I had to take the door card off because when I brought it it came with 2 extra bolts, a cube of foam and a broken driver window. It wouldn't open. Apparently that is because the crane lifting the window is broken, so the dealership unscrewed the window and stuck a pvc pipe in there to hold it closed. And the pipe won't let the foam cube designed to stop rattles fit anymore, so they stuck an old sweatshirt in there.

My first car was a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire. Metallic pink. YUCK. I decided to spray paint the car lime green like Paul Walker's Eclipse. It turned out just how you would think spray painting a car in the hot sun in front of your parent's house would turn out. Eventually I got sick of the green and decided to go matte black, but this time with a roller and a gallon of outdoor house paint. Now this was actually pretty sweet because if I ever got a door ding in a parking lot, I would just open what was left of my gallon paint can, and paint right over the scratches. Eventually I saved up enough money to get a "professional" paint job from Maaco and the car got rear ended a week later.

You're talking smack about a very good product based on your own personal opinion, which I can tell even by the comments here and in many places that is the opinion of a minority of people. If you don't like it for your own reasons (which I don't know) that's your problem, but let the rest who do like it be and don't try to push your opinion as a fact PS. That is the advantage of a dip, it works like a clay bar detail if you have a decent surface under it. I still use plastidip but I know how to spray it, clean it and don't over do it.

I did the bad tint... I did the cheap intake... But the DUMBEST thing I ever did was follow a trend in my town of putting lights behind the grille. This was pre-internet 1980s so you don't even see pics of it online. The average car for a kid at the time was a late-70s G-body or maybe a Nova or Thunderbird... yeah. There was this one kid with a Cordoba *coughcough* - Imagine those cars with a $20 set of halogen flood lights from WalMart behind the grille. Now imagine how many of us just shoved the red wire into some random fuse socket, smashed in place by the fuse, and screwed the black wire to some random body screw... the joy of dead batteries and electrical fires!

You can make a 2 door Cordoba sweet. Did you have the 440 or the 383? I had a 72 Chrysler New Yorker. That car would glide down the highway at one twenty without being winded.

I put the extra cheapo high beams behind the grill, but I failed at the shady tree mod because I wired them to a circuit breaker that triggered on the high beam circuit. It even had an inline fuse. I did put in the crappy blue halogens. That exploded.
