Do you need to warm up before doing these exercises? I am in my mid fifties and would like to do strength training. Also, is it better to do this type of exercise first thing in the morning (before work) or in the evening?

What do you suggest for older adults.

@nancyswanson5509 - Most of these exercises can be done by people of any age, as long as the movement is controlled and is not causing you discomfort or pain. If you follow the form I show, and start off with light weights, or even no weights at all, you can complete the exercise.
