Very interesting that Christian has that perspective of “if I had no desire to get any bigger or leaner or like stronger…I wouldn’t even go to the gym”. The gym isn’t just about bulking or getting shredded. It can be as simple as a way to stay active, a way to maintain, good for mental health. Maxx enjoys it, and is happy with where he’s at physically and I bet there’s a ton of people to go to the gym feeling the same way🤷🏻‍♂️

Maxx, I love your stance on TRT. I'm 55 and still all natural. I think today's men jump on it WAY to quick!!! Younger than 30 is crazy to me. Yeah, your energy isn't the same as you get older, but you work through that. I can see a day when maybe I would start taking it, but I'm not sure when that would be. Feel like I can relate to both sides of the fitness talk. Weight training definitely always been about progression and a goal, If Im not making any progress then there's no real desire to go. On the flip end It's a whoole lot of time and effort for seriously negligible gains that you'll lose as soon as you get more complacent and operating at that peak doesn't really seem worth it to me if you got other things in your life going on + constantly pushing yourself to the limit just increases the risk of injury and wear on that one body you're given.

I do think Joes view on the "mocking of the last supper" is just ill informed. I do think so much of the Olympics was unnecessary and waste of money, but that was a Greek historical moment and proves how many Christian's don't realize how much of "Christian history" is just stolen from other cultures. It was a replication of the Feast of Dionysus - who was the Greek God of the Olympics. Am I silly enough to think they didn't think people would see the resemblance? No. I'm sure someone thought this may piss people off but the truth is, it is a stolen religious scene so no one can truly, logically be upset.

I was wondering this too, though I know the late fee at my apartment was like 20% of rent? I can’t remember but it was pretty high. But joe, it might be worth looking into the contract on what it says about rent due the first of the month if the first falls on a Sunday and then since Monday is a bank holiday, maybe they give you until the third?

Joe, all of the local news stations do investigative reports on viewer complaints…. There’s a whole team dedicated to solving and filming these issues for their stories. All you have to do is be willing to do an on camera interview about it. Call in to the news stations and have them pick up this story. No apartment complex will want that type of bad press.

You’re entitled to have an opinion because your response was received as ingenious and as if you’re avoiding the topic over all - you appeared to be tip toeing . You having this podcast is the whole point - talk about all the things. Christian is right- why argue with those who disagree. Your opinion means your sharing your views, your beliefs regardless if others disagree. We need to speak up and speak out on important topics otherwise those that we disagree with (I.e pornographic books in schools is wrong) then those who are pushing it will keep pushing and getting their way. Don’t walk in fear not saying you are but it does appear that way. Maxx you should get into rock climbing! It’s all strength/weight ratio + skill of course and I think your body would transition very well. Especially since you have a good grip from deadlifts. But I’m also bias cause it’s my favorite sport ;)

I think training with zero progressive overload is almost like saving all cash with zero investing. It’s just gonna lose value over time. Build all the extra muscle tissue now while you’re young & able, that way there’s far more in the reserves as the aging process inevitably starts taking it away
