Everyone's friendly when you show them you're freakishly strong. Especially for men who are used to being stronger than everyone and they plan on winning fights by overpowering the opponent. This is less true with men who fight by technique and are experienced against men stronger than them. Anatoly's speed is obvious too, and that would have intimidated me more than his strength (either one would intimidated me, but I don't bully people so I would have been nice anyway).

Yeah I'm starting to get to the point where it looks weird that I'm lifting as much weight as I do because I still look pretty lanky with the baggy shirts I wear to the gym. I always feel like people are surprised, but really nobody's probably paying attention. I remember watching this dude bench 225 when I first started out and he looked barely bigger than me too. Strength is a strange thing.
