Another great "Tech Tips" video. When I am making axle spacers I slip the brass tube over a axle and secure in place with a drop of superglue. Then place the axle in a the chuck of a electric drill.Then hold a file against the brass tube as I power up the electric drill. A bit of heat will then allow the brass to be slid free of the axle.

Thanks for watching. I always liked the battles between Lund, Elwell and Wharton in the F1 stocks. I loved the F2’s too and supported Sworder and Speaky. I also worked with Rob Speak on his ASCAR at Rockingham Raceway.

sloting plus make some nice axle collars that you could use instead.

@@CleaveTech my bad. They make 3mm collars (i use them) but it should be pretty easy to drill them out to 1/8"
