Good video mate. I have the MTC one on mine and it fits a lot better, but credit to you mate for working with what you’ve got and adapting to make it work. Craigs video was a massive help to me as well with the route work of the pipe. It’s a nightmare how the stock intercooler is sandwiched right in the middle. So much to remove to get it off. Wishing you good numbers and a healthy run on map day mate 👍

Well done mate u smashed it the Nev kit doesn’t look the best etc but u did what u do best made it work and worked round it thanks for the mention aswell glad I helped 🙌

Ran MTC on mine before going gobstopper looks like MTC fit a lot better and come with all the hardware

I fit my Nevlock FMIC last night. I can’t understand why you need to cut the slam panel. Mine fit perfectly. If anything the silicon hose in the cold side was a bit long but it still fit fine. It’s even bolted to the radiator

@TheJimbobjimmy a while after this vid was uploaded, I fitted something else on the front end and basically worked how it should have all gone together. I think I was just rushing when I first installed the fmic

Unless you are running a bigger turbo and lots more power the standard one easily copes with heat. Each to their own I suppose.

Looks like you missed a jubilee clip on the hose that runs behind the grill

It's further down mate. The end of the hard pipe is that far down, I put it closer to the end

Did you monitor the intake temps with this intercooler or notice any pressure drop?... Im looking at a airtec but obv the price difference leads me to this nevlock one but unsure if its as good?

I didn't mate unfortunately. Hindsight I should have but in all fairness, since fitting this one, it's been great.
