Little alignment tech tip when you take the cam bolts out but a little paint there to remind you where it was sitting before to get it closer which means less time adjusting it so you can get it back to you faster!

im running 35’s on my 2011 silverado with stock offset and a leveling kit and it clears after a bit of trimming but it still rubs on bumps i have a 3 inch spacer for my level im thinking of getting a 3 inch lift spindle or a different bottom leveling kit

At 10:35 there’s that black piece above the actual lift arms on the metal, that’s what that’s for. It’s softer than the metal used so if you slam the door into it then it’ll mess it up, but just lightly opening the door if it hits it, it won’t mess the door up. Source- have a bendpak lift that’s nearly identical to his and have bumped my camaro doors on it.

35s would fit with the right wheel specs. That much offset increases the steering arc radius and causes all the rubbing/trimming. And everything from the road will now be slung all over his truck. Form over function, I suppose.

I put a mcgoughy 12 inch lift on a single cab Chevy about the same year as Allison and the quality shocked me (especially for an 18 year old's truck) I'm used to the middle price range rough country lifts and this thing had 7 agustable lift levels, very pricy but great quality good choice. Btw you were close that bolt is called a cam lobe. Keep up the great vids

Since you already did your trimming on your inner fenders, try lowering the front more. It may surprise you that you can still tuck the tires. Or raise the rear, up to you. Truck looks good with some meats on it.

Ummm I dont know of any manufacturer using Rancho suspension components on a stock oem truck. So it makes me think that this truck was actually a used truck and the previous owner put on better shocks but ended up not being able to afford the truck. Rancho is strictly aftermarket only so this is why I think this truck was used, not new when Gavin bought it.
