Great video, I have a Kampala inflatable awning and I wasn’t sure how you can leave the site and return to attach the awning back on. Your video shows how easy it is.

Thank you, that was really helpful. We are just buying our first camper, a CV80 and were wondering how the drive away awning worked!

Really helpful thankyou. I travel alone with my 10 year old daughter so was a little worried about looking a twit trying to figure out how to attach and detach the awning when leaving for the day

We have an awning for 4 years and as yet have never managed to pitch it right. The tunnel just never lines up with Madge so there is always a gap. We always attach the awning to Madge first. Luckily it zips up inside so we just get on with it. The extra space it gives us it great on a week away. Take care Gill

We tend to only bother if it’s 3 nights or going to rain, just makes storage easier like you say. Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for the video, it unlocks the mystery. Can I ask how long do you stay on one site before it becomes worthwhile to put up an awning? Also, can you use camp chairs and a table on the integral groundsheet without damaging it?
@RickandHeather3 жыл бұрын
We don’t bother unless we’re there at least 2 days but it’s rare we stop in one place long, more so use it if we think it might rain. Never had a problem damaging the floor but you can always fit a breathable groundsheet under it.

Hey guys, great video as always. How tall is your kador rail on your wind out awning?
@RickandHeather2 жыл бұрын
No idea without measuring the van! I could do if you need to know

@@RickandHeather Next time you are out and about would be fantastic, if you don't mind. Our van is 8cm difference in height to yours but we don't pick our new van up til July and trying to find a poled awning that fits but they are all Low. Knowing the height of the awning rail woud be a big help. cheers Gary

Hi both, I bought a cv60 2021 model in November. I'm wondering what fridge you have in pearl, I have a dometic 12v. I'm in Portugal and it's 35 at the moment, the fridge just blows hot air in the van it's unbearable 😫I have to keep turning it off, do you have the same problem, thanks you video are very helpful 👍

Ours is a 2020 model and we have the Thetford fridge in ours also in a 20 the fridge is near the front so we don’t really notice if it’s venting hot. We haven’t had as many really hot days yet though. Glad you like the videos sorry I can’t help more!

Just watching your vid on driveaway awning. Very good. One thing though. They're not guide ropes as Heather calls them They're guy lines/ropes 😂 Just be a bit picky😉😉😉😉
