No because the bead of window bond is thicker.

Nicely done Gary! Little tip mate use masking tape when you drill your holes then draw your pen marks on the tape between the holes. I normally use a grinder with a 1mm fine cutting disc on the long runs then jigsaw the corners. Saves a lot of deburring later 👍

Top job on the windows, very professional looking job. I did the same on my T5, but fitted a fake window on the drivers side rear, which I think makes the van look much better. I don’t know if you can get similar for the vivaro, but if not you could use a normal glass panel and black vinyl wrap the inside of the window, so you don’t see the silver panel behind. No need to cut a hole out, just stick the fake window in place. Just leave an air gap in the adhesive bead to allow for air expansion and jobs a good un. Will look much better than wrapping or painting that part of the van.

They recommend giving the van paint a light sanding before the primer. Van glass for vans also recommend putting the primer on the glass as well as the van

I'd invest in a solar panel kit, will charge even without the sun and costs £300 ish depending on where you go, they are basically second hand but they have 20 years life span and the second hand ones will be about 10 years old... well worth it imo
