Just wondering why you haven't shimmed the bucket or put the rubber rings on to keep dirt out of joints?

you dont shim it until it needs it. if it was designed to be fit with shims the shims would go in 1k hours and it would be complete slop. also. the way that pin is designed. unlike a hitch pin, its way of holding it in place with that 3 bolt designed cap, keeps all the dirt out that would ever get in. you are talking thousandths of an inch that fitting is.

Talk about doing things the hard way. Much easier to pick the bucket up with the crowd link & use the machines hydraulics to line the main pin bores up. Grease the pin before installing & it will push in easy. No sledge hammer needed.
