Most likely a big reason gustin is the flash is because they loved how he played barry around felicity because they didn't have anything else to go on at the time :p so when the chemistry is that instant u usually will get something atleast hallway decent if not more cause they feel comfortable taking chances

This is how you nail a screen-chemistry test! They are so comfortable together, like they've known eachother forever, even physically, which is very difficult to do. There was never anyone else who could be them.

One thing I commend them on that is beautiful (Aside from the entire thing) is how they are able to leave pauses. It can be so hard to leave pauses when your first acting and especially when with a new person as you cant anticipate them understanding what your intentions are or if your intending a pause or not. So you can feel like you need to fill that gap for the other person. But they don’t do that. They trusted each other’s acting and intentions and in this way alone this screen test is just beautiful!

Is it me, or does pre-S1 FitzSimmons look a lot like our current FitzSimmons?Iain's hair is less curly, Elizabeth's is more wavy. Iain is less skinny. Did they change their normal look entirely in S1 just to have them look how they normally do in S2-3?

This is probably before they were put into full hair and makeup for the show. So they probably just had them wear outfits FitzSimmons might wear and that's it. I think they tried to emphasize Fitz and Simmons's nerdiness in the first season and hair and makeup went along with that.

I have watched this screen test a dozen times and it never gets old! Iain and Liz put their hearts and souls into these characters and this relationship. They seemed to be living in their own show within the show! Liz actually made a similar comment about that! They were inseparable even when they were seperated! But let's not get into that. That's a sore spot for many of us lol. Anyway, it's so funny how Iain thought Leo and Jemma were like brother and sister. Maybe he was in denial because the first episode of the series you clearly knew Fitz was in love with Jemma. And the shows creators said they knew right away that this would be a great love story. And it is. Iain eventually realized how special the FitzSimmons story really was and I think it was because he had such a strong bond with Liz and he just loved the script! They clearly have such a comfort level with each other. Iain said Liz was his partner in crime and couldn't ask for a better person to be paired up with on the show. Thank you Mo and Jed and everyone involved. You know the TV side gets some flack for not being in with the MCU movie side, but they KNOW how to cast just as well as Mr. Kevin Feige.

Daisy doesn’t play that great. She is overrated in the show. Neither her character, nor the actor doesn’t bring up so many feelings than these two and coulson. Heck, I really loved the ghost rider 1000x more than daisy. She is just a character whose role is to pop up sometimes, like a guest star.
