I'm not a pro by any means but after playing a bit, it feels easier to get tickled from the bigger bullets/projectiles while escaping with translocator. Even when planning out a safe corner to escape to in mid-range...still they can catch ya. You know how it goes sometimes. Stay safe!

Sombra feels next to useless in this patch. Her flank kill and get out potential is effectively gone with health bars being so high. DPS passive is a cool idea though. P.S Fitzy you have been missed!

I feel like sombra is stronger on the frontline playing with the tank and looking for ability cancels, almost like a watered down reaper. Very reminiscent of ovw1 heavy emphasis on teamwork to get good value from her but I’m loving it personally

ii just came back and was curious to try sombra. i liked sombra because i felt like i could still be effective debuffing enemies with silences and wallhacks even if i didnt have the best aim. i stopped playing her for ow2 because i felt like her hack ws too short of a duration (the original silence was far too long imo so it needed a nerf but they turned it into more of an interrupt/damage amp which didnt really fulfill my fantasy). i tried her out and i really dont like her new translocator... its just a delayed blink? before i could bounce around on the high ground. i would typically take high ground off angle. throw my translocator on some other high ground. stay where i am/drop down when necessary and then translocate when i get focused .by that timei translocate, i would be back up again and i could basically bounce back and forthon the high ground, switching up positioning when the enemies catch on. i also dont really care about her new virus spell because its just more damage... like who cares lol. i want to play a mobile hacker, not a second rate tracer with a shitty blink. tbh i would bring back her old translocator, increase her hack silence duration, and replace her virus with the destroy translocator ability. she SHOULDNT be able to perma silence an enemy again because that was toxic but i miss her ow1 version. the two dps i really enjoyed, they changed... first sym now sombra.
