Honestly..., if a person only has 20 bucks and they want to get into records, I wouldn't knock them for purchasing this player. Eventually, I'm sure they would upgrade to a more reliable turntable. But if a player is cheaper than the media they intend on using it for, one should ask themselves why that is.

Records usually cost more than $25 dollars anyways, so it's not much of an investment. If you're this concerned about costs, you should just go with CDs instead. They're easier to handle due to their smaller size, much more durable than vinyl records because CD players use a laser instead of a needle to play CDs, they have good quality, and decent CD equipment is cheaper. All of this for the cost of *maybe* visual aesthetics.

For anyone who wants to buy records, find you're self a decent direct drive TT with a decent magnetic cartridge and make sure you get the weight and anti skate adjusted properly. Therefore there's a good chance it'll not harm your records.

Nice job on the review but I would suggest that during most of your review you need to be closer to your microphone because your voice sounded like you were too far away from it and the mic picked up too much of the room resonance.

Not to mention, I've tried this player with my Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. vinyl and it skips a crap ton on a lot of the bass heavy tracks, So no, If you want high quality music with no skips, just get a used AT-LP60 for $60 instead of this garbage.

I’ll I bought it and I had it and it’s really cool. I bought it from five below and the CD player but the speaker sucks so I just got a better one.
