***** While I agree with respecting and being open minded to all music (as a musician myself) I do think McFly have superiority over a band like 1D for example because they actually play the instruments and write their own songs. ID use session musicians to write so even if they are "writing" its not like they sit down and chose chords and a melody on their guitar and then write lyrics and decide what drums and bass to put with it... someone else does that and they pick what they like and write lyrics with a writer

@Jambo M Uhhh excuse me? Have you ever heard the 1D lads singing without autotune? Cos, believe me, they slay when theyre performing live. Watch their carpool karaokes and/or pretty much any live Niall performance ever. You can even watch the lockdown collaboration they did with Niall, James Arthur and Olly Murs on Shine a Light. Niall is a huge Galaxy Defender and McFly love him and all of 1D, so if One Direction are good enough for McFly, you should either re-evaluate your music taste or have the decency to not shame their friends. Also, shaming 1D is sort of shaming McFly anyway since, you know, Danny produced their 3rd album Midnight Memories and they wrote a lot of the songs on Midnight Memories, including Don't Forget Where You Belong which is a fan favourite.
