Most countries in Europe share some degree of responsibility for the Holocaust and Axis war effort, but this uncomfortable aspect of history is seldom discussed. Instead, Germans take 100% blame for everything. This history is not true. Poland was the most anti-Semitic country in Europe pre-war Croatia instituted its own Holocaust Romania joined in the war and created its own KL camp system, exterminating many Roma Jews. Britain refused emigration of Jews to the new Israel The Netherlands deported the largest percentage of its Jews Hungary cooperated in the deportation of 750,000 Jews The Viche French deported all foreign Jews from France And so on...the guilt can be shared everywhere.

That is exactly what I wrote. I got the same response. I then said that I can see Germany was the lead... But ideologically and even in factual terms, it's shared by many. I even put the link to a video interview of Primo Levi, in which he explains exactly this: Fascism in Italy was what lead to Auschwitz. My comment was removed! This doesn't make Germany any less culpable, but the rest was there too! Also, it is not true that the holocaust is addressed in other countries. Italy and Italians does not take any responsibility at all, for instance!
