Thank you for sharing this. As I was reading this, I thought as if my sister was writing this. My sister also had cystic fibrosis and she lived her life to her fullest or at least to her potential. She past away at 23 yrs old and doctors would tell my mom that she wouldn’t live up to 18 yrs so they were wrong. Everyone has one life. My cousin who was the closest thing I had to a brother passed away from a motorcycle accident recently at 20 years old with his first baby on the way in a few months. I spent such a significant portion of my life next to him and he was one of my biggest supporters for me to achieve my dreams and be successful and I was his. We were always there for each other when we needed it. We both got busy with our lives trying to build ourselves and our careers while still supporting each other. The pain felt even not being his mother, father, partner, or actual brother is so immense I never had an experience as traumatic and painful. The way it all happened is horrible. The car having no lights on, him getting run over after the crash, the EMTs intubating him improperly putting the tube in his stomach, the baby on the way, him being young, all of it is devastating. Appreciate life and everyone in it and be grateful no matter the difficulty, we never know when it is our time to go or when it is theirs. Live life with love as much as you can.

This is literally what my sisters life is. She has cystic fibrosis and its very very hard for her. She's been in hospital for most of her life. She had her transplant and were all forever grateful for it, but the people she meets who have the same condition as her aren't always the ones to make it. It's like all her friends around her pass and there is nothing she can do to help them. When I watched this film, all I could think about was my sister and the other characters related to her friends. It's such a good movie and it has a proper perspective of what it's like to live with cystic fibrosis

I have cancer and my husband walked away from me after 22 years because he couldn’t deal with the fact that I have cancer he didn’t want a scrawny bald ugly wife so we found somebody else and asked me for divorce in March I broke my leg so badly I’m still wearing a boot I had an external fixator for almost 5 months I cannot begin to articulate how horrible this year has been. I’m in an apartment that I despise and they hate me too but they won’t let me go nuts without making sure I can get another apartment without a huge deposit and a ton of money. My dog was in boarding for almost 7 months she’s happy to be home with me but she’s mad. This song inspires me to be better to stop looking outside myself for validation. It inspires me to not give up on my own, to make sure all avenues are exhausted before giving in.
