Amber THANK YOU!!! That was awesome!!! I’ve been lurking for a while, let me introduce myself.... I WAS an ASL interpreter student back in....hmmm 1989(?). Got married -got pregnant - gave up many things for the change of direction life was taking me! I’m 58 now and I’ve never lost interest in ASL, but I appreciate more from afar as I’ll never be an interpreter at this point. Amber, you are the greatest. I didn’t feel like the interpreter at the Grammys last night was truly signing ASL correctly but no one else seems to see it - partly due to the strange filming and the way the interpreter was standing. I’m not an interpreter but want to be one some day particularly for musicals. Can you give any insight on this? Am I crazy or was that not a real interpreter?
