This song was on the radio for the scariest time of my life. I took a ride with a serial killer the only weapon I had was the knife I removed from my GI AND I USED IT TO HELP CUT HIS NECK (In The driver seat so he was the only person that could drive me to the hospital and he really needs a little coaxing so I took that knife out of myself and used it anyway I could I would not be alive today if I did not fight back demoted 16 other girls they would’ve been 17 but they caught him they put them in the electric chair down to Florida sent me an invitation to his execution and I went watching that was really the most horrific thing I ever went through I’ll be on disability the rest of my life and the smell of his tissue and liver watching him try and shake even if what he did was one of the worst things that I could think of the way he died was and is going to haunt me for the rest of my life I wish there was someway I could get this message to the artist that wrote and produced this song I never ever heard it again until tonight 40 years later was the first time that I’ve heard it and what sugar it was but it’s empowering every time I hear this song again it’s gonna remind me of how strong I am how much good I did the world and how many girls I might’ve saved by getting him off the street I think you for that
