My brothers just got the True carbon shafts for Christmas. Those are pretty nice as well.

Thier limited edition shafts are always super cool. I have one from a couple years back with the constitution as it's built in textured grip

i understand working with universal and how wolf athletics wants to sell their products. but i really want to see more up to date side by side comparisons with their shafts. i now have 2 of my sticks strung up with their aura mesh kit, i love it.

I have used both the U-1 and now currently rock the U-2. The U-1 is insanely light but I broke it in four months which was crazy for me as I can usually make dragonfly’s last a year. Good thing for that warranty. The U-2 is the opposite and it is easily the toughest shaft out there but also one of the heaviest. The shape they have is more round and as a pole I found it to be one of my favorite. They are a pretty good company as well and their customer service is solid for the most part. Your level of play definitely affects what shaft you should get in terms of these two and honestly if you are a physical highschooler or any level above you should get the U-2.

It’s called Planned obsolescence… look it up kids… buy a real Titanium shaft once you soft kids. Buy 1 shaft for life… in year 2000 bought it and still have it… I’m an Lacrosse All-American and MU Lacrosse Hall of Fame Member. Currently lacrosse companies are ripping you off.

Yeah kids, go buy a real titanium shaft, because those aren't difficult to find at all. /s
@StephenMilano123 жыл бұрын
@@redstarlacrosse There are not currently national laws that prohibit planned obsolesce in the United States. However, the Consumer Product Safety Commission does have the power to issue durability standards if it chooses to exercise it.
@redstarlacrosse3 жыл бұрын
@@StephenMilano12 Of course, but my point was that there are no titanium shafts anymore. Kids can't just go buy them. There are titanium alloys but that is definitely not the same thing. There are however some INCREDIBLY strong carbon fiber shafts on the market. The Wolf Athletics U2 for example is virtually indestructible. The game has softened over the years, and thus people are often willing to sacrifice some strength for a decrease in weight. If you want strong, heavy, and cheap hickory is still the answer.

@@redstarlacrosse thank you for dropping the knowledge here; I’m just seeing a cash grab at the top by slapping on new stickers or removing logos as the next version. I told ECD today that I can’t wait for Carbon 12.0… These aren’t iPhones… there is a problem here. A $200 million dollar market and they want more.
