Howzit MK, I grew up on the Westside of Oahu(lived on Jade Street) before we moved to Maui,many good memories of going to Makaha,Yokohama,Pokai bay,Tumbleland and Makua cave with my older cousins,Aloha from Makawao,Maui🤙🏽

Morning of the Earth is light years ahead of any other surf movie. The best time in the history of surfing. Uncrowded waves, exploration, hippieness and freedom.

I imagine so. I surfed in the 70's in Florida...so free so fun. 1981 spent 2 months in Puerto Rico, it was awesome. Some of these youtube stars seem to have kept that free ride spirit alive. I'm envious.

I agree with your choices, and ranking too! My first was Super Session, Hermosa Pier Auditorium in 1975. An immersive experience of rowdy, hooting, inebriated older (like, 16-21 year old) dudes, that sweet smell of weed, and endless footage of surfers climbing and dropping so repetitive that I could still see it when I closed my eyes.
