I guarantee the out of bounds timer is purely cause theres no natural barriers to keep players from just traveling too far and falling into the void due to lack of collision and having their games crash afterwards. Which is like baffling. Why have a racing game with no map-edge barriers on a majority of the tracks? When theres absolutely nothing left to see, put a fence- not an obnoxious timer

Honestly the timer mechanic is really fun in some places since if you can get back on the track within the time limit you can make some really good shortcuts. kinda reminds me of the out of bounds mechanic in titanfall.

You ran into so many more glitches then I did! I also recommend using a heavy character on the afton car. The worse the handling, the better, because unlike mk8d, high handling only makes you turn tighter. I also ran into the same exact issues on the sinkhole

I find it wild how i did a good like 20 or so races and never encountered a single glitch besides the one where occasionally while releasing a drift all your momentum just disappears. No out of bounds clipping, no crashes, no random respawning Maybe im just built different?

It only plays well when you're a good enough driver to avoid the glitches. Especially in the sinkhole. Takes some time, but it becomes a bit fun when you're able to stay on track. Edit: I had the same problems at the start, but I never got the game to crash.

I think clickteam needs to check out the technical solutions in Mario Kart. They need to cap the possible speed so you can't get launched and also get a better checkpoint system so the game always knows where you are and can't softlock you - for this one I'd look to nintendo where they split the track into segments. And clean up their code, because if this is how their current code 'works', I expect it to look like spaghetti under the hood.

Besides all the bugs, I honestly love this game what it can be in the future. I've noticed that the sinkhole map is the most broken, while Fazbear hills and midnight motorist functioning better. I think the controls are fine, it takes a while to get used it but if you suck at racing kart games then it's not for you. I love the design (expect for BB) and I love the jumpscaring guy, feels very fnafy. Overall a 6/10, I hope they can really fix the game and add loads more content.

This is a demo, not a beta. Also, there was a patch to this demo that released yesterday that did fix pretty much all the bugs. So it clearly didn’t take that long to find them.
