Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted NON-VR Teaser

We have been working really hard to create a version of Help Wanted for everyone who doesn't have access to a VR headset. Its been really important for us that the Non-VR (Flat) version feels great and not just a cheap ported 2D version of the VR version. We've worked hard on making the cameras and controls feel great! If you have Help Wanted already on Steam or PS4, you can play in Flat mode. If you don't have VR you can buy and play the game in Flat mode and if you upgrade with a VR headset later (PC VR or PSVR) your game will work with that as well.

A really bad example of how not to do this is Rec Room, mind you, a free game. They started prioritizing flat mode over their original playerbase, and a wave of toxic players looking for an alternative to VRchat flooded the game. Then, they introduced microtransactions, a fucking MOBILE PORT, overstaffed their studio, etc. everything you should never do. And their PR is a fucking nightmare. Nobody over there at the company knows how to handle anything, and they complain that they can't release the full game to the Quest due to optimization issues even when The (fucking) Climb got released on it. They suck at their jobs as developers, and their community support is god-awful, considering their biggest problem is a group of 14-17 year olds with a light knowledge of coding and programming. It just sucks that I say this because this game was one of my favorites ever made 3 years ago. I used to love the dev team. I used to be heavily involved in the community. But they just drove all of their original playerbase away, drove me away, and drove away a multitude of their most popular room creators. Every single decision they make now proves to me that Jesus died in vain and legally changed his middle name to Fucking.

It actually seems as if this is just an update that will allow for Non-VR play, meaning all your data will remain stored on the game. The entry on steam will still be "FNaF VR: HELP WANTED" but will have the option to play without a headset. Similar to how VRChat functions.

It's all one game. If you have the game and no VR headset you can play it in Flat mode. If you happen to get a VR headset, it will magically work for you on PC and PS4.

If you own the game already it will be a patch that gives you the ability to play in Non-VR mode. If you buy the game and don't have VR, it will simply work. If you DO decide to get a PC or PSVR headset, you can then also play in VR mode. PC will have Mouse and Keyboard controls on launch but will soon be updated with controller support. PS4 will have full Dualshock controls. Curse of Dreadbear will also be able to be played in Non-VR Mode.
