What the lyrics means: 1) How we could have known we we're stuck in a system There was a pre-existing dictum programmed to do nothing else (correlating meaning game, in life and the animatronics basically "we were stuck in endless cycle of the game and truth be told there was nothing else that they could do to please you anymore.) 2) why feel so alone... when we share so much wisdom? (Meaning we all felt alone so why leave each other when we shared the same experience through the journey.) 3)but you set fire to the kingdom burn it all until it... melts (Instead you hated how long you have to wait for the game which got release earlier than it should have which had many bugs and blamed it on the developers igniting the flame. 4) or else... This come from inside, how long do we have to try Now this come from inside, and stays there until you die(double meaning "or else..."it's something else the hate deprives from, "how long do we have to try" meaning how long do we have to take the blame, mistakes and hate that they never caused and so should they keep going? Also, Scott is getting older and has kids to look after although the fan base is partially to blame it for how things came to be. Now you will remember and die knowing what could of been without the hate and tearing the game is your fault now.) 5) long time ago it was all for a show, fill our wounds with a point of salt (meaning it was or for fun, everyone loved it and now it gets hated on for no valid reason) 6)and your reason to justify scars you can't quantify lock us inside a vault (your hate for what they've done... It was caused by the haters, which left a scar so you locked them away and blamed them instead.) 7) now this is your fault everything is a problem there was a poison in the air despair is a eternal blight( well basically it's your fault how this went about... hate is eternal as love and hate are yin/yang.) 8) you're losing it all, you've been blinded by stardom you think you are all alone but we are waiting every night... 𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚( you are starting to kill the game because of this you are about to lose everything you experienced til now, 𝙮𝙤𝙪've 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙢 that thy 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙣𝙖𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙚 taking their time polishing the game to finish and satisfy the fans. They waited every night for you to play fnaf, but due impatient toxic fans you got what you asked for... Unpolished and unfinished fnaf security breach game.) 𝙎𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 😊btw fyi I did my best to correlate the lyrics between the game and the problem the fnaf team/scott faced in life double meanings.

I'm so happy that Yoav sang at 1:29 and used the original vocoders from his first FNAF song. I'm honestly surprised he saved it! While this didn't feel like an upbeat head banger, it felt like a peaceful wrap-up to the TLT FNAF trilogies and was filled to the brim with nostalgia and written in his more recent matured style. Thanks for coming back with one more bop!

It’s so bittersweet and this feels like a goodbye letter to Scott and the franchise. I feel like so many of us who have been around since the beginning have been slowly letting go of fnaf (although KZbin wouldn’t be what it is today without it as crazy as that sounds). This franchise will probably never die, but this feels like a nice send off for us adults who kept up with fnaf as teens. Thank you.

I remember when I was 13 and first heard the original song. Streaming wasn't as big of a thing so I had one of those apps that worked as a closeable KZbin so you could listen to music and such, and I had it looped for days and had it in my head for weeks. Feels like so long ago now. So many people I used to know back then that I shared that song with. So many memories.

1:20 - 2:20 a lot of people liked this part. And me too. It's like a message from the past, from the parts that started our FNAF journey, to everyone in fandom (old vocoder from original song highlights it). "Long time ago it was all for a show" it seems to mean that no one, not even Scott himself, expected FNAF 1 and more to shoot out and find such love among people (I remember Scott thought it was going to be a mediocre horror story at the time). The next few lines ("now this is your fault", "there was a poison in the air")addressed to Scott (about how he left FNAF), or William (how he killed children and exhumed them into robots). Now look at 2:14. It seemed to me that our old friends looks happy and holding each other's hands. They are always happy to see us coming back again and again. And they will always be glad to see that they are not forsaken. They will waiting for us more, as long as we make them alive ("we are waiting for you every night", a reference to the original song). And "you're mine" means that this story and these characters will never let us go. Flying high, do not forget who you crawled with. Perfect, TLT. Upd: thousands of likes. I'll admit I was a little underwhelmed at first, but after looping it a few times it really clicked just how calm and nostaglic this song is, it feels melancholy in a way. this fandom has been a big part of my life since the first game came out, and this really feels like...the end, or at least the end of an era. FNAF will NOT be the same from here on out, and I'm...excited to see what they do differently. hopefully they learn from SB and make something truly amazing and polished next time.

as someone who's been following the tlt fnaf songs since elementary school, this is a perfect ending to a beautiful saga. it may not have the same "energetic-ness" as the originals, but it doesnt have to-- its a closing, an epilogue, and just like security breach to the main franchise, strays from the formula of its predecessors while referencing and keeping true to some things that have been there since the beginning. wonderful lyrics, amazing animation, incredible composition. its perfect. thank you, the living tombstone. thank you, five nights at freddys. this comes from inside.

Dude, eight years ago when this series was first birthed I was still just a little kid. I remember watching all of Matt’s videos on the lore and having nightmares for ages, I remember listening to the original TLT songs and thinking they were crazy good (which they still are mind you), and here I am now, eight years later. This series has impacted my life, which I know is a bit drawn out because of how many people have said it at this point, but regardless my childhood wouldn’t have been the same without FNaF. I sit here now, almost an adult, just crying thinking about what this franchise has done for me. KZbinrs being able to cheer me up on shitty days with FNaF games, getting involved in the community and finding a place where I can geek out with other people about the things I care about, even when my friends wouldn’t listen. This franchise is one of the most important parts of my childhood and I cannot thank Scott enough for creating it for me and everyone else who grew up with it. It hurt me so badly to see him leave the franchise, and I hope no one forgets that Scott Cawthon is the man who brought us up through Five Nights at Freddy’s.

The fact Scott made FNAF as a last ditch effort at game dev before he’d eventually give up if it didn’t work out, but instead it turned into this: a huge community, several fan-games, fan arts, animations, theories, fan songs, books, comics, plushies, toys, action figures and several games that managed to stay relevant for over 10 years. It’s just wild! It’s every developer’s dream! So glad it worked out for him! Congratulations, Scott! And thank you Living Tombstone for still making these awesome FNAF songs!

This song seems to be so much less energetic than the first few though, I'd like to believe that its because back then, when the lore was fresh and new, everyone was so excited and now, people are still excited but with a better understanding of FNaF, I feel like this song is some type of "Thank You" to FNaF in general, and everyone who's been a part of it. :D Also not to mention the amazing animation! I even met my best friend thanks to sister location. It pains me to see this game finally be over with, this era of FNAF done. This game was the best game out there for me. I know this community had its moments but doesn't every community have those moments? I wish this game could stay alive but sadly not everything is like that. Things must come to an end eventually. I'm glad TLT made songs that I could look back to and think about all the good times I've had in this community. I can't believe it's been 8 years since the first FNAF game came out. The whole vibe this song gives off really feels like the 80s, the way the song is a metaphor for the unending process of that being told over and over again is so cool and works much better than a basic, "this is the plot of the game summarized in a song" sort of a thing, and just how killer the visuals and singers are make this a truly incredible song

this song really hits me like it’s more directed at the original fnaf fans. hearing that “waiting for you every night” felt like i was pulled years back in time for just a moment also this is a reminder NOT TO BURN OUT THE SONG, IT WILL LOSE ITS MEANING (im looking at you, person that memorized a ridiculous amount of fnaf songs only to burn them all out and come back years later to be slapped with nostalgia)

The line "You think you're alone, but we are waiting for you every night" got me the most. Like a 4th wall break. Like Freddy and Co, the games and this community are always there for us.

and if you hear closely, the "are waiting for you every night" has the same melody as the first verse of the Fnaf 1 song. 2:16

As a kid who grew up with Fnaf, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Undertale, Minecraft KZbinrs and much more, this feels like the end of an era of my life, so much nostalgia. I feel like in the future I will look back at things like this, but, honestly, I don’t know what kind of reaction I will have, but I sure hope it will be good!

It’s not the end, the era will always live on, greatest game ever, Besides TF2.

This feels like a loving tribute to security breach, the games that came before it, and TLT’s previous fnaf-related work that truly does come from inside. Absolutely incredible work to everyone who put this together!

This feels like the last chapter on a book. Bittersweet. But looking back from the very first song to now, we’ve come so far that it feels like a distant journey. I feel like such a different person than I did so many years ago. And that’s a good thing. Thank you, Living Tombstone. For closing this book for me. With much love, Atlas

This fandom saved me after my dad died and I felt like I had no family left. It gave me a family of KZbinrs like Seán, Mark, Mat and Steph, artists, musicians, the list goes on. No matter what happens or what game or book comes out next, I’ll always love this fandom.
