Peach is absolutely hard to avoid. To make it easier, you should only check the cameras of the letters unless Peach isnt active.

Gotta love the effort go link this game with the other entries by dropping little mentions to the history and characters seen in said sequels. It's cool worldbuilding and it overall cleans the overarching plot to not feel out of field, like the original games. Great gameplay.

It's very much so beatable. You have to do some crazy power management, though. Checking the cameras outside your doors is better than using the lights, you want to sit without using anything until about 1AM, and you want to listen to sound cues to open up doors without using the lights to confirm.
