This is turning out to be my new favorite youtube channel. You always manage to cover all the games and genres I love. Steel Assault is awesome and I've cleared it several times but after i finished it on normal i reached my threshold. Games in the genre or adjacent I've played recently is The Mummy Demastered which I finally finished even though I've had it since release. I also cleared all levels of early access title Arksync. Planning on taking on either Gravity Circuit or Prison City next. Started playing them both before but didn't continue because other games got in the way. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Carl, I appreciate it, as always. I've definitely got Prison City on my radar, and I've just started Beholgar, which I'm warming up to very nicely after a difficult start. Look out for that in a future video.

I had never heard of The Legend of Tianding. I'm surprised!

Yeah, the studio behind it in Taiwan are quite small. In fact, I don't even know if they are a studio anymore - I hope so, because they've made a great start with The Legend of Tiangding. Thanks for watching!

I'm amazed by the truly interesting titles you manage to drag up from the depths of shovelware and clickbaity nonsense that is most of any digital storefront these days. I knew two out of five this time and I'm dead set on getting the rest of them now.

Ha! It truly is a digital minefield out there. I'm happy to assist in dragging a few morsels out of the depths!

That's a good shout. Excellent level design in that one and plenty of variety. It moves really well, too.

Okinawa Rush sounds interesting because that's exactly what I thought about scrolly beat-em-ups too. Do you have to pull the moves off with dpad n button combinations like street fighter and trekken? cheers :-)
@Video_Games_Forever7 ай бұрын
Hello! There are a couple of Street Fighter-style D-pad inputs, but there's nothing as complicated as a Tekken combo. It's all pretty easy to pull off and great fun. Thanks for watching!
@SteveFusionX7 ай бұрын
There are just-frame specials (like the Mishima ewgfs in tekken) the inputs themselves are more like MK, such as down, up+attack or f, f d +attack etc You can also parry anything, even the traps - but the parry window is very lenient. Once you know this, its easier to deal with mobs!
