Five Pools in two days in the Villages Florida out of 115+

Many who don’t live in the Villages don’t understand just how many pools we have here in the Villages to choose from. I decide to explore a little one day visiting three pools and the next day two pools who have zero entry pools that I great for kids visiting us 55+ who live here.

During my short term rental on the Historic side, I have been to Southside adult pool & Orange Blossom Gardens country club pool. The OBG pool water is cooler because of the water fall. I prefer the Southside adult pool with the warmer water.

Been to all these pools! They are all great! We live in Dabney and like to check out other pools because yes the Dabney pool is often crowded.

I don’t think you will have to wait too long. I see a lot of activity in the new Richmond section and I believe Waters Edge is next or at the same time.

We have done a loop N to S and back pool hopping. We usually do six to eight in eight hours.

@@GaryAbbott we do not go to CC, our favorite is Burnsed, we just like the decor of the overhead and Cordoba up north which is new.

Why don’t any pools in TV have a UV sun sail covering a portion of the pool; for those of us who are trying to prevent melanoma or just enjoy a pool experience but not in the sun? I don’t even see umbrellas by the lounge chairs; correct me if I’m wrong.

I think almost all have a covered section plus a pergola area with lounge chairs.. The Fenney pool has a section with regular chairs & tables with umbrellas. Great for when you get food at the grill. You are correct that most pools have no shade when in the pool.

Thank you, Gary! We visited this summer and were in the La Hacienda area. We went to the pool…and it had a restaurant and theatre. I believe it was a country club pool and we did not have to pay extra to swim there. (highly recommended and very clean)

Yes...bring your own. I bring my "OTOW" logo towels and as a bonus, I've found them to be quite a "conversation-starter" in The Villages pools. Sad, but I like to live dangerously... ;-) -- BR
