I'm just starting out with my DSA prep and you think with good 6 month prep I be able to crack a HFT software role?

There are lots of ways to an HFT role, some require extensive DSA experience, others don't. If you choose the latter - sure!

Actually I'm not sure. It could have been the final round - I searched online and found someone else that only had HR, OA & tech screen.
