After trying to fix an issue with my Macbook Pro, I speak English with a lovely lady who tells me a sad story, treat myself to some amazing five-star food (with sticky rice) and talk about a sad story with a Thai lady.

5 stars for 5 Star chicken 👍👍 The 5 Stars chicken franchise is ingenious in the fact that nearly all their 'stores' are demountables. Their theory being they can very quickly & easily relocate them if a chosen site does not sell well. What a simple but great idea. Essentially a modern take on the Asian street food model.

Yeah, five-star is great food. Great option for westerners new to Thailand and not confident in eating Thai food at first (or people like me who love their comfort food from time to time). I didn't know that about the franchise but makes perfect sense. Set up outside a store... it fails, they more. What could be more simple. Great idea and thanks so much for sharing! Great murals Den ✅ MSV are a group based in Chiang Mai including Mauy, Waris, Nap, MatDeeMcHee and sometimes includes others like Dump & a few others. Love their work, they collaborate with others and bang out a wall in an organised party type gathering ❤️🥳 Love street art, especially political statement themes ❤️

Ahhh, OK! So they must have spent some time in KK! There work is fantastic! I think this is why their section has remained since 2017! Yes, street art (not graffiti) is wonderful! So creative and expressive. There are a few other areas in KK that have similar artwork and will share it (when I can remember where it is!!!). Thanks for sharing. I didn't know there was a group! Khon Kaen has obviously some impressive grafitti artists. That was awesome. As long as they make this into an art, and not just random scrabbles, I`m all for it. Maybe these are your students, Den, who knows 😊

Hey, Sarlina. I have been informed that they may well actually be artists from a group called MSV, based in Chiang Mai. Names like Muay etc. are the same. Very interesting and I will try to find out more. I couldn't agree with you more, however.... there is nothing worse than random graffiti everywhere. This wall is dedicated to "street art" and looks fantastic. Many people come just to take selfies etc... I like to film the whole wall haha. Take care and have a great day, Den.

If you are not an experienced bike rider back home then you do not magically attain skills as you pass through immigration in Thailand. PLEASE DO NOT hire a bike unless you are skilled. This is the last country you want to practice in. Take a tuk tuk, Grab/Uber, Taxi to get around.

My thoughts exactly. So sad that they guy lost his life but happens countless times every day and foreigners are not excluded from that list. Too many come over, decide that they want to get around cheaply (some even while drinking) and end up losing their lives. So so sad. If this video helps just one person take a Grab or whatever instead and saves their life, then it has done its job. Thanks for sharing, Den.
