What bothers me about kids like this is they use UNC and the name to make them stars and to spring them into a lotto pick in the NBA draft after one year. He 'll be a one and done too. May make a little noise in one year. But we need guys that will want to stick around a few years. Man how many titles would UNC have if we got to keep all our players for 4 years. We would have passed ucla a long time ago.

Scott, what the hell are you talking about ... this kid does not need UNC to boost his NBA stock. His play on the court is what's getting attention from all major colleges and NBA Scouts and yes he's a OAD player. So we as fans have to accept that really good players are going to stay in school 1 or 2 yrs then declare for the NBA draft. Schools can stick to recruiting players with less talent and wait for their development and not even recruit the 5 star athletes if OAD's are a problem.

@@MrEckman55 well that's normally what UNC does, stay away from the one and dones on the norm. And it's worked out for them so far. Dean Smith was always like that. He had one n done talent at times that still stayed 3 years. Your not gonna win many titles with just one n dones. Coby white was good but because he came to UNC his stock went through the roof. Went from just a potential 1st round NBA draft pick to a potential lottery pick just because his short tenure at UNC. Trust me being a UNC fan I've watched it year after year. Don't think those NBA scouts don't check kids out at schools like UNC and duke more than other schools. All of the championship teams at UNC had all 3 and 4 year players. But several stayed in school even though they could've left way early.

Unfortunately Scott that is the nature of college basketball when the nba changes the highschool rule college needs to require that if they go to college they need to stay for atleast 2 years when dean smith was coaching there weren’t to many players going out of highschool either the game has changed when these kids get to college there normally already the best players on there team

@@DeadSezSo wait I don't get your comment. Are you duke fan or UNC fan? UNC don't have to pull nothing for prospects. UNC is UNC ! Most final 4 appearances of all time 3rd most NCAA titles. We have no problems with people wanting to come to play for us. Might be in a little slump because the academic investigation 2 yrs ago but we 're on the rebound. Duke and K Better watch out. There's about to be more years of sweeps by UNC just like this one.
