Hi from Florida, USA! I just found your channel and I enjoy it very much. I like to meet people from foreign countries and learn about their life and culture. When I was growing up, I had 2 foreign exchange students, one from Russia, and then another from Ukraine (1993-1995). It was a very interesting experience for me. I discovered that people are almost always the same inside, the citizens of all countries want peace, and the government is the main reason for the different lifestyles and opinions. I love channels like yours because I love to see that people all over the world want to be friends. The internet has allowed these connections among people who under other circumstances would have never met. It's a beautiful thing. Sharing and exchanging culture is the most interesting part of being alive on this planet. Thank you for sharing your life and culture with us. I'm looking forward to watching more videos!

Hello phubarr!!! You wrote such a great and interesting comment that I left thinking for a couple weeks! I apologize for not replying for a long time. Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you like my channel. Yes, I agree with you, people all over the world are really the same and everyone's psyche works very similarly. I don't think that citizens of all countries want peace, but mostly of course people want security. Government is the main reason for the differences... I think government is basically responsible for society and the norms it sets in that society. After all, it can support both equality and violence. But within a society there is also a culture in which these norms exist to varying degrees. I have seen with my own eyes how society has changed in Russia over the last 15 years, and how slowly the culture of violence has replaced everything else. And that culture also affects those who have power. I think it's a complex two-way process. But ultimately, the responsibility for the development of society largely lies with the government and those who have influence over people. Yes, my channel is about me and the values I want to share. The Internet really gives incredible opportunities for development and contacts, I'm happy about that too! New video coming soon, thanks for watching! Have a great day :)

A few days ago on German TV, a native Russian told at a talk show that Russians are brought up to be violent, that Russian women are allowed to be beaten. But he also said that there are also many good Russians. You are definitely one of them.Always be well protected in all your ways.🕊 Несколько дней назад по немецкому телевидению коренная русская рассказала в ток-шоу, что русских воспитывают жестокими, что русских женщин позволяют бить. Но он также сказал, что хороших русских тоже много. Вы определенно один из них. Всегда будьте хорошо защищены на всех ваших путях.

Sadly it's true. Family violence decriminalized in Russian law. Thank you for being so supportive! 🫶

Hello Stepan, from Michigan, USA. We also have very cold winters here but I love my beautiful state. We call it "the Mitten State" and we point to our hand to show others what part of the state we're in 😊Your English is very good. Please don't be concerned about it. If you're able to, I would like to see more of Tbilisi (assuming that is the city you're living in), and hear more about the Georgian culture.

Mitten State - how cute! And handy to show with your hand :) Thanks for the tip about the video. I live in Batumi, it's on the coast. I'll think about what I can shoot about the local culture. Thanks for the comment!

Good to hear from you! I am amazed you talk so little about politics. Yes, starting a new life in a foreign country has its challenges! Speaking the language is probably most important. But I assume many Georgians do speak Russian. And that there are many other Russians you can connect with. Best of luck!

Hello! Honestly, I don't know what to say about politics. What would you like me to say on the subject of politics? Of course I follow the political news and laws that are passed in Russia. But I can't say everything on camera, because I still have relatives in Russia and I fear for their safety. A week ago I was lucky enough to record a podcast with the head of Navalny's headquarters from St. Petersburg, but it's in Russian unfortunately. You're right, a lot of people in Georgia speak Russian. All the younger generation speaks English. That helps a lot. Thanks for commenting :)

You're right about politics. Now it's part of my responsibility to talk about it. And I'm really interested in it. I want to develop this channel as a vlog, but there's nothing stopping me from doing a separate video once a month about politics or news related to it. I need to come up with a form so that it's safe for me and for my relatives in Russia. It would help me a lot if you could write a couple of questions you have now. Thank you! Have a great day!

@@BMotz-ym1fn hi! I see a preview of your comment, but don't see the comment! And i see you write it twice, and then they disappeared. Thank you for writing it twice! Why this happened I have no idea. If you want, you can write me an email stepan@bogatyrev.pro. if not, it's okay, I understand. I'll do the research and see what people are interested in. Anyway, I've made a decision to try to do a politics-related video once a month. And it's thanks to you. Thank you!
