Congrats Michael Cooper, long time coming but once you’re in the Hall, you’re in forever.

Underrated Michael Cooper deserved it, the story he shared about banner rafters is so emotional.

I became a Lakers fan in 1986 during the Showtime era. Cooper was one of my favorite players on the squad. Coop a Loop, 3's, and his Defense made this guy incredible. Loved watching him play!

The Showtime Lakers should have their own wing in the HOF, they saved the NBA.

Make no mistake, without Cooper, there is no Laker's Showtime Dynasty. He was a cornerstone player. Sharman and West knew this and he spent his entire career with the Lakers.

it's true criteria have been loose as of late, but Coop most definitely deserves to be in it, go and check his resume he is a bona fide legend from a legendary Lakers team

I disagree I feel like if you were a star as a role player and have accolades personal and team wise there should be at least a chance. 5 rings, 8 all defense selections (5x 1st team), and a DPOY. Definitely ain’t 1st ballot worthy but it’s been almost 35 years since Coop retired. IMO He deserves to be in at this point.

🎉 😊 If you get the assignment of guarding the top scorers on each team and do it as well as he did in the error that he did for a team that was as successful it was then you should be in the Hall. This is a time that has been anticipated for a while. Also let us thank the writers for Bobby Jones in because it let us know all things are possible.

Larry Bird said Coop was the toughest defender he ever faced. Enough said.
