As a little "weight challenged" person of 103 kilo (I'm still a 184 cm, tall man!) I have just got a new Taiwanese, Joseph Kuosac, rubber suspension for it, which is named "Hard" (Brompton only offers one standard version)! I do expect it to get a more comfortable ride by this, as it won't flex during pedaling. I have also bought a "printed" saddle (A.E.) for a little less weight than my original "Superlight" saddle. I looked for a similar "T-Line" saddle but it is expensive and may not be that sturdy, as I have seen complaints about broken saddles here! As a "Rainy Dane" I of course use, the Superlight Version mudguards, with titanium stays (But Heavy Metal clamps!) and by a little changes on those, and a new carbon handlebar, I expect to come below 9 kilo, when I have finished my last modifications (for now 9,35 kilo)? Not so much above an original T-Line, with mudguards, and with only 4 gears compared to my 6! But it is still a lousy bike on the small wheels, so if not in need of the fold, buy a "real bike" 😄! Another great summary video. I will be pulling the trigger for the titanium seat post. I am still hesitant. In Amazon there are different finishes. I need to choose between mirror polished and titanium version. Which one would you suggest? (My bike parts are silver) Does your seat post external surface as smooth as the original steel one? Does it scratch more easily than steel? A faithful follower from Hungary

Hi Anonymusmaster I'm glad you like it! I've been using this Titanium Seatpost for over an year. It is lighter then original and gets the ride a bit smoother. Mine has some scratches on the surface, for going up and down the frame. My first choice was the rainbow one, but it got stuck at the post office at Covid time, and got lost. But I like my Black one very much. In your case, I'll chose the Titanium version (I think it won't scratch). My bike has Black parts, so the black looks good on it. Hi Hickoco I'm glad you like it! This Titanium seatpost is lighter then original Brompton seatpost. I'm using it for over an year. Still strong and in perfect condition.
