After watching this I went back to my spreadsheet & lo! I discovered that my problem was I had copy pasted the data from Microsoft word. When I re-typed the data, it worked like a charm. Problem solved. Thank you for taking up this issue. Really appreciate it.

If you are trying to work on google drive try opening the document with the excel app and correcting the issue there. Worked for me and automatically also corrected the file on drive.

I kept getting the error. the problem was that a had for example 20.36 +10.56, my excel did not reconized the point, I had to change it for a comma instead of a point. 20,36. Thanks for the video it helped me a lot

Me too, but then I replaced the DOT(.) with a COMA(,) which seems to work. So if you have DOT or COMA make sure to always use whatever the formula is using in the total sum.

When I Prepare Salary Sheet and Apply Worksheet name tab in a single column this formula =MID(CELL("filename",B2),FIND("]",CELL("filename",B2))+1,255)&""&2020 this is okay but when I apply Formula =Datevalue("1"&F6) then a error occurred is #VALUE! please find the solution. Thanks

Make sure that the two cells you're referencing do definitely contain dates, and are formatted as dates.
