@@robotech987654321 you got that right 100%.I might be 39 years old now but i still manage to go back and listen to these gems and still enjoy it a lot more then some of this crap that these singers are singing about. In today's music your either singing about being drugged out, been cheated on or doing the cheating or just singing something stupid with no meaning. At least the music back then wasn't all about that and I miss those day's. People need to go back and re listen to a lot of this older stuff and maybe get some inspiration behind it and who know's it might be pretty dang good

I was just watching videos of 5ive and I realized how Simon Cowell missed the chance of making a big name out of them. They were so huge here in Asia, they were obviously big in Europe, and most importantly, they already had a growing following in Latin America and the United States, something British boybands struggled to achieve especially in the nineties. Simon kept blaming the group for not securing "Bye Bye Bye" when the guys already had "When the Lights Go Out" in the United States as a top ten in 1998. *NSYNC got their first top ten hit in 1999. I see them as the male counterpart of the Spice Girls, all five guys are different from each other and they all shared the spotlight and had distributed vocal parts unlike other groups where only one or two get to do the solo singing.

Scott is the only one even bothering to sing the chorus. Technically, I think he is the best singer in the group. The only one who can sing + dance in this performance.
