@@red149 it was the UK version, I watched on Channel V and as far as I remember all the MCs are Indians, so maybe that's the reason they aired UK version. I only found out there was an US version many years later.

These guys are incredibly underrated. They had amazing rhythm, they danced while singing perfect harmonies, they got the crowd excited....I miss 5ive so much. The boy bands of today cannot compare to this era

20 years, congratulations! Such an amazing group, so glad you're all back together. We saw them live in 1998 at Sega World, Darling Harbour in Sydney. Their concert was in my all-time top 5 just under Snoop, Ice Cube, Boyz 2 Men and Andrea Bocelli!

Listen to the crowd scream during J's rap part. They loved it. It seems that they somehow erased him as much as possible from the official video they uploaded. There are actually two versions of When the Lights Go Out, the UK and the US version. One where they're in a bowling alley and one where they're in some VR sci-fi thing. In the later one J does rap, like seen here. In the other version which is the US version I believe, Abs has two rap segments. The Things You Do also have alternate rap lyrics.
