How to keep the quality? Some cars when you resize the textures just loose the quality .....

Usually minimize unseen things like floors and such but when ot comes to a place where you want to keep the detail. You can set it to 1024.

Well all is correct, but in tutorial u made like potato car, for example would be grait, if u write down some scenarios, for example... If u want optimize a lil bit then from 4096 - to 2048 if u want optimize normal then 512-1024 Sometimes u get some textures broken after optimizing are done, then u are forced to leave this texture alone with stock size. Overall good video. Another think... more easyer program for optimization are - XnResize. ( i personally use )

Hey there, it all depends on the vehicle textures being used and the car was just an example not a method statement, but i do respect your option. The resize tool may work but it tends to break the odd resolution textures (1024x2048 for example) this guide is more of setting the general direction. When i make my own vehicles, i always use 8k textures and then downscale them to 512 or 1024 depends on what its used for and where it can and cannot be seen, for liveries, i found 720 to be optimal without pixelation on the 8k method.
