@@tj-23 If you watched any of the games you'd know that wasn't true. They ratcheted up their effort according to the opponent. They played with very little effort vs the Heat, it was basically a summer league scrimmage for them. The one game we went off they weren't guarding Tyler Herro at the three point line, it wasn't Bam "taking over."

Bam isn’t a leader. He is on record on more than one occasion saying he doesn’t like being the captain. If you trade Jimmy, you trade Bam too and start over with Jovic and Jaques and this years picks. You can get a boatload for Bam, and it would be wasting Bam’s prime to keep him here with no chance of winning for years to come.

Sabonis averages slightly less per game than Adebayo does. Caleb Martin is about the same scorer as Murray so exactly what problem are you solving? That is with them playing with a better point guard than the Heat has had in years as well as Harrison Barnes who many of you fans would trade half the roster to get.

If the Heat sign Jimmy to the extension everything will stay the same and in the next 3 years Bam could see the writing on the wall (no chip as a Heat), and move to his friend Tatum's Celtics. Bam knows without a chip he's not going to the Hall.

Sylvander should remember that Spo is overrated. He is barely over .500 if you take away the Lebron years. His small ball is unwatchable and joyless. And his offenses are always among the worst in the league. What's so special about that?
