Big Robot, has aoes for the entire Ring, maybe shoots bombs, and make slow strong punches and meelee Spikes when too long attacks on him and knocks you back and shoots the bombs😂

The $30 guy really committed a cardinal sin of doing freelance work: Changing the client's design. NEVER do that unless you get explicit permission to "be creative".

That being said, it is honestly a fun design itself and I would like to see at least the concept made use of, but yeah when you're doing freelance work do what the customer ordered, not whatever you feel like and then claim it to be your own interpretation.

Most artists in the field are $35~$40/hr so having them do several hours of work for $20 is exactly why I hate Fiverr. Likely meeting minimum wage or less. It's not Ponty's fault, these dudes don't know the value of their labor and are helping to bring down the wages of professionals.

I tried fiverr and most of the artist I talked to were from india, and other south pacific countries. English was a second language for all of them. One guy deleted his account, because he didn't want bad reviews. I send them an image and said "I want this, but a more realistic, and with a slight green tint" 2 guys just took my image (the one I sent), and colored it green. :P

@@BlakeGillman I was buying things on line, but I can't buy my game's cover art. I'm good, but I'm not an illistrater. I keep seeing people on yt saying how good fiverr is, and now I know they are all BS, or lucked into a good artist. If you want something really good, then .. yeah.. you hire someone in the industry. But... if you want just simple and fast, i though Fiverr. Now I know Fiverr is below "simple and fast". It's less than students with 3 months training, most of the time. Yeah... you get what you pay for. "fair" is an agreed upon amount. "Fair" can be $5 or $5,000 depending on the person, skill, and circumstance.

@@BlakeGillman except if you live in the Philippines an average daily wage is 6-8 usd so paying $20 usd is paying them 3 days of work. Which is pretty good money, but it does screw over US creators.

With Fiverr you have look carefully at the artists reviews and give them a small piece of work. If you are happy with the small piece of work keep going back to them and give them more and more work. It's still a little difficult as the best artists get too much work and their quality can slip as they can end up rushing your work when they are busy.

I thought Milanote was to good to be true, then I used and its been helping so much! Half the time I'm wandering in Unreal Engine then I open Milanote and I look at my to do list and work on that, I plan on how the game is gonna look with some images, its awesome I recommend! Thanks Ponty

for punchabunch put the ali shuffle as a special acheivement prize same with rope a dope. maybe you can gain the skills and moves of irl boxers by paying for achieving by fighting. so you progress your fighter in like a rpg with speed , stamina, strength etc and gaining the moves of irl boxers

I'm saying this also with the intent that this would be best played online with others and as such everyone could customize their own boxer not only with visuals but also with unique fighting styles and moves from irl boxers so it's more engaging but also could encourage friendly trash talk among the players before the fight begins.

My experience with Fiverr is that the best is often around the $20 level. Once you get into three figures, you only get people who will meet the brief with the minimum effort possible. Although that's changed this year… now, if you're paying $100-300 for an art asset, you have a 80% chance of getting someone who will paste your brief into some genAI tool and submit the results regardless of whether it actually fits.

Maybe if a boss wears the viking helmet they can rage in which time they deal more damage and are faster (but they lose there stamina when they’re done and can only use it at full stamina) And when a player uses it they get more damage or attack speed, or it just looks nice

Imagine needing a license just to go fishing at any time. In my country you only need a license during prohibition season when we allow the fish to multiply, that way they limit the number of people who fish in that period. Otherwise outside of that season all you need is a fishing rod.

My Ranking would've been: Juice Hat - 1st Guy Viking - 4th Guy Bear Hat - 4th Guy Robot - 1st Guy Bear Hugger - 1st Guy The 110$ Robot just looked so pathetic in terms of work compared to the 1st Guy It kinda fits the game, but at the same time, the 1st one was so much better. More detail and everything. Wouldn't use anything from 2nd or 3rd guy. Just seemed rushed, or lack of effort.

you should make one or two new characters you can unlock when you beat a boss that is that character, maybe one is a little Mac style small character that can hit under attacks and dodges better and another is a heavy hitter but they arent as defensive as the main character
